Build up to ride 100km +, over 12 rides we start with a 15 miler in January and finish with a 62.3 miler in June. Ideal preparation if you want to do the Manchester to Blackpool ride on 12th July (will need to be booked through https://www.bike-events.co.uk/Ride.aspx?id=2749&n=y ) These are all road rides with some quiet roads and bike paths , so riders must be comfortable riding with traffic and MUST carry spares (innertube to fit your bike, minipump etc) These are Community rides not guided rides, although they are fixed routes with someone to navigate, ny hills to be taken at own pace and we will regroup at top with last rider up to decide when we set off again. Riders will be responsible for there own safety and MUST adhere to the highway code. Helmets are strongly advised . There will be a Cafe stop on each ride so bring cash/card as well as any snacks/drinks you may need.

All roads ride with mix of quiet and busy roads and cycle paths.

Cafe stop will be at The Planet Cafe at Jodrell Bank Observatory.

Helmets strongly advised, please bring puncture repair kit/spare innertubes, basic tools and mini-pump. Bring Cash/card for the Café stop, along with any snacks/drinks you may need for the ride.

We never leave anyone behind
