Jingle your Bells from Durham to Croxdale

Starting at the Rowing Club we will climb up through Nevilles Cross to join the Bishop Auckland Railway Path in Langley Moor. We then head across on quiet roads to Sunderland Bridge. The route then climbs up the bank past Croxdale house and through the estate to meet the A181 at Bowburn. We will then follow the road into Durham and stop for a well earned coffee and slice of something at the Cathedral before going back along the riverside to the club.  Please come dressed appropriately for the season, there will be a prize for the best jingled bike and rider! Recommended for children 10+ due to cycling alongside the busy A181 between Bowburn and Shincliffe. Dress warm/appropriate for the weather - warm gloves and thick socks are a must, together with tinsel, bells and appropriate headware!! Please also bring along some money for refreshments.
