Jaunt to Dunstable Downs

Are you thinking of joining VCC? Are you a little uncertain, would you like to practice riding in a group? Then this is the ride for you. We will ride 30 miles, starting from the Alban Arena at 8.50am going via Dunstable Downs - with the option of popping into the visitor centre for a cuppa and cake. We will aim to ride as a group to allow you to feel comfortable riding safely but closely together. We will aim to ride at 13mph, but don't worry we won't leave anyone behind and it's more important to focus on riding as a group - the speed will come naturally!! You need to have a road bike with drop handle bars. We will be using a mixture of quiet and busier roads. We will head out towards Redbourn, Markyate and do a loop back round through Gaddesden Row and then back to St Albans.
