This is a special ride for International Womens Day. Do call / text me if you have any questions on 07908209813. It is a longer tour of the 12 open air statues in central London erected in for specific women who are not royalty. It is a lovely route which takes in many of the iconic views of London, and the route takes quiet routes where possible. You should however be used to cycling in the traffic. We will leave the Clapham Common, head to Denmark Hill and into town via the Durning Library in Kennington, and then Albert Embankment, follow the river before crossing over at Lambeth Bridge, seeing the view of Westminster. We will then head to Trafalgar (there is a staircase which you can carry your bike up / we can avoid this if it is a difficulty), and then out to Lincolns Inn Fields. We then head up to Tavistock Square and cross Euston Road, enjoy a comfort break and coffee or water in Regents Park before riding over to Paddington, over the canal and down to Hyde Park. We will then go around Buckingham Palace and through the back roads in Victoria before finishing back at Clapham Common. Please check your bike before starting as it will be early and no bike shops will yet be open. Bring a pump and an inner tube just in case, as well as some water and a snack. There is also a special competition to Win on Women's Day on the Breeze Facebook page so do join in or check the conversations below on #MakeItHappen #womensday #IWD2015 #internationalwomensday #PaintItPurple
