It's Bike Week and...Breeze goes to the shops

This is a circular ride on side roads and cycle paths. We will go under the dual carriageway then down to Bartons Lane, up Pyotts Hill and into Chineham Centre. It’s mainly downhill on the way out then up on the way back. We’ll meet in the car park behind Chineham House, Shakespeare Road, Basingstoke. There will be time to stop at Chineham Centre so you could maybe; - bag a bargain in a charity shop - buy something for your tea or sandwiches - or go to the Post Office / buy that birthday card you need. On the way back we will pass opposite Go Outdoors, Lidl, Dunelm Mill and an Eastern European food shop. Any bike type is welcome so long as it’s in working order. Wear clothing comfortable for the weather that won’t get caught in your chain etc. You’ll need the usual spare inner tube (preferably plus pump and puncture repair kit. If it’s hot bring water . And of course you’ ll need either back pack / panniers / basket for CARRYING YOUR SHOPPING! And make sure you bring a lock (and key) to use at the shops. Look forward to seeing you.
