Introduction to group riding

An introductory ride for people wanting to try out group riding with us. As such it will be done at a relaxed easy pace, on a safe route, using bike lanes, Greenway and quiet country lanes as much as possible.

There will be a couple of hills, but we need to train our legs to tackle them to be able to enjoy our future rides. Take your time and cycle with your own pace (or walk if it's too much for you). If you fall behind, don't worry, we'll stop at the top (where it is SAFE to do so), wait for everyone and regroup.

Suitable for those who want to try out group cycling or road cycling (with minimum roads this time).

Mostly traffic free, some quiet roads.

Stopping for well deserved tea/coffee (and a cake) half-way, at Lavender Hall Fishery Cafe, Berkswell

Please, make sure your bike is in a road worthy condition. Wear suitable for the weather clothing. Have a spare inner tube (that fits your tyres) with you. Bring some water to keep you hydrated. Wearing a helmet is not compulsory but strongly advisable. If arriving by car, please, be aware of parking charges. Relaxed and enjoy the experience! :-)
