Join Ann and Jane and assisted by Catherine on a social ride around the Milton Keynes redways to celebrate International Women's Day.
International Women’s Day is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women.
Breeze has been a huge success in empowering women to get on their bikes and just cycle. Over 380,000 women across the UK have cycled through Breeze, what an amazing achievement!
To mark International Women’s Day we will ride up to ‘The Rose’ in Campbell Park and take a group pic in front of the International Women’s day monument as part of our route.
Our route will also include a couple of other highlights which celebrate the achievements of women in Milton Keynes.
GPS route here for information.
https://ridewithgps.com/routes/45704908Today, we will take a very social and gentle ride around the traffic free cycle paths of Milton Keynes, passing lakes, rivers and through our many green spaces.
No one ever gets left behind. We go at the pace of the group.
The Milton Keynes Trek store, has agreed to support our event! So on our home stretch we will stop off at the Trek store where they will provide us some treats to celebrate IWD.
Afterwards, if you still have room, please join us for a drink and or sweet treat at the Harvester Pub, at our end point.
