International Womens Day EASY mtb/gravel Rideout.....now with red route options due to riders signed up

***CyB mtb/gravel 1 - all-weather 10km 1.5hr approx***
An all weather route suitable for hardtail mtb or gravel bikes on forest roads with easy(or more difficult!) optional mtb trails. There will be sections of climbing to start, but this ride will end on a down - yay!
100% traffic free - caution through the carpark.
There will be the 'obligatory' stop at the view points for quick pic, regather at trail junctions, and it's MTB code of common courtesy to regroup before dropping into the next mtb trail section, but otherwise I do like to keep everyone moving, especially on a wet or cold day.
Helmets are mandatory on MTB rides. safety glasses & gloves are very much advised. Also bring any medications , along with water.
Please dress for the weather & bring a spare layer in case of punctures etc Please remember to bring basic tools&spares to fix your own bike if you have them(eg inner tubes to fit your wheels), & spare rain jacket, but otherwise no need to bring a huge weight as I shall have my leaders pack with first aid, general spares & tools etc.
Remember it's your ride, so we can add options anytime during the ride to spice it up or choose a smoother path if you prefer, speed up or take longer breaks. Just ask.
We will run through a bike ‘M-check’ before leaving, to ensure all bikes are safe. 1.30 CyB visitor centre bike stands/outside toilets.
Myself & Jennie will be back at the Dreigiau club hut (old go ape hut) after a club girls ride about 1pm....but will no doubt need toilet/coffee/lunch/bike parts...so we will do the 'M-check' down at the visit centre at 1.30pm & ride out back up past the hut/vehicles to drop off/pick up last minute items.
WHAT TO BRING:
Mountain bike in good working order.(or hire in advance with a Breeze discount)
Drink & snacks (optional on a short ride).
Dress for the weather with a rain jacket.
Helmet in good condition, eye protection & gloves
Repair kit and spare inner tube for your wheel size
Front and rear lights (not needed)
