International Womens Day Ride (Easy going) from FBC

About the route
Starting point
Bike shack at the back of the Finchampstead Baptist Centre (FBC), Gorse Ride RG40 4ES.
Plenty of parking at the FBC.
This is an Easy Going ride, to celebrate International Women's Day.
This is a perfect ride for ladies who want to try cycling again. At the start there will be a bike mechanic available to check bikes or if you need to borrow a bike then this can be arranged by Wokingham Council.
This ride will take place largely (hopefully fully, if the weather allows) off road, along gentle paths. The ride will be roughly gentle 5 miles.
The ride will leave the Finchampstead Baptist Church on Gorse Ride. We'll meet by the Bike shack at the back of the FBC centre at 10am and run through a bike check. We'll then set off on the Greenway, via California Country Park and Hazebrook Meadows Country Park (if the weather allows) or up to Arborfield Garrison. We'll then return to the FBC for a well deserved coffee (& cake?).
This is a social, no drop ride. You will need to be able to ride a bike.
What to ware: narrow trousers (or use a trouser clip), gloves, scarf, waterproof jacket, cycle helmet (or you can borrow one at the bike shack).
What to bring: a bike (unless borrowing one), money for the cafe stop.
