Starting point

Perthshire
KY13 8AZ

We will take a loop around Finderlie to Milnathort village before taking the cycle path out of Milnathort to Arlary, then following the road through Kinnesswood and Scotlandwell to Lochend Farm Shop cafe where we will stop, relax and enjoy coffee and cake. Returning via Balgedie Toll, we enjoy views of Loch Leven, the follow Burleigh Road back to the campus. The route is fairly flat and the gradients mainly shallow with one very short, slightly steep rise early in the ride.

Route rating

0 stars (0) Reviews

An easy paced ride with a stop at for coffee and cake to celebrate International Women's Day (which is the 8th of March) so we are IWD+1.

The route is virtually all tarmac - on generally quiet country roads - there is a very short section of dusty track which has a firm hard packed surface. A few potholes here and there but mainly the surface is pretty reasonable.

We will stop at Lochend Farm Shop for tea/coffee and cake

Helmets recommended. Please wear comfortable clothing - with layers to out on/take off as needed. Other useful items are: a waterproof jacket, eye protection gloves, drinks, snacks, an inner tube and any tools/pump to fit your bike/tyres, money for the coffee shop, a well maintained bike - with tyres pumped up.

We never leave anyone behind
