Starting point

B60 2LX

Bromsgrove Rail Station, Aston Fields, Bromsgrove, Worcestershire, B60 2LX

This is an undulating circular ride of 25 miles in Worcestershire from the station to Inkberrow.  There are places for a cuppa (and a bite) (The Bull in Inkberrow - which might be the Famous Archers local and although almost home the teashop at Avoncroft museum). The circuit will take us out towards Cruisehill towards Feckenham and then along the B4090, a couple of doglegs to cross the B4092 and A422.  Back along the lanes skirting Hanbury Hall and the canal to pass near to Avoncroft. This ride is for for fun but is best suited to those who are already confident at handling their bikes and are looking to build up the distance they can cycle.  It will be at a steady pace to keep us warm, so you will need a reasonable level of fitness.  Suitable for all bike types.  Lots of layering and keep feet and hands warm. lIGHTS may be required as this is the shortest day.  Carry a pump and a spare inner tube just in case! You may need a drink and a bite with you to keep you going. If there is the likelihood of ice on un gravelled and little used roads we can walk in these spots, although with the later start this ought to be at a minimum.  Bear in mind that the pace and rests will be to suit our slowest cyclist and bikes and so the timescale estimated really is an estimate! Looking forward to seeing you Janet
