Starting from Amersham, we will head out on mainly quiet country lanes, passing through a number of pretty Chiltern villages. Come and join us - the weather is forecast to be sunny - there will be a few hills en route (it is the Chilterns!) but we will be rewarded with fab views and beautiful countryside.
Coffee/cake stop at Chiltern Velo near Hawridge and Cholesbury.
As always, your bike must be in good working order, bring a spare inner tube and pump, working lights as well as money and lock for when we stop.
Suggested checklist of things to bring:
Helmet
Mudguards (especially the rear wheel)
https://bit.ly/3BEhVSE - these are good mudguards
Front and rear lights
2 tubes (1 if tubeless)
Pump/gas canister
Rainwear/gilet (worn or in your pocket/bike bag)
Layers are good for this time of the year
Water bottle
Face covering (optional)
Cash/card for our coffee stop
Please have a good check over your bike the day before the ride to make sure it is road worthy. British Cycling have put together a handy video for checking your bike before a ride - How to check your bike - British Cycling's M Check
