Ilkley to Bolton Abbey

This is a road ride and although it isn't a busy road the ride does involve dealing with some traffic so you need to have some experience of riding on the road, although you'll have the support of the Leader and group. This is Yorkshire and there are hills, but you can always get off and walk! We really welcome newcomers to our rides; we will always ride at the pace of the slowest rider so no one is left behind. Once at Bolton Abbey we'll have a cuppa a cake in the tea room before are return to Ilkley. Once back at the start we’ll cross over the river and have a drink in the pub if anyone wishes too. It’s a good idea to bring some water, snack to keep you going and money. Wearing a helmet is advisable; if you don’t have one please do not to worry you can still take part.  If you enjoy the bike ride and would like to come again perhaps you could look to buy one then.  Everyone’s welcome - look forward to seeing you there!
