Leaving Yvonne's cafe, we will head towards Hawarden Railway Bridge over the River Dee, Once over the river, we will be riding on a traffic free shared path towards Meadow Lea Cafe. The path takes us over the Dragon Bridge, onto a straight route towards the Shropshire Union Canal. Crossing over the Canal we head towards Mickle Trafford. On the way to Mickle Trafford there are three tunnels - two short - one long - where particular care needs to be taken. At the end of the Greenway we turn right onto what can sometimes be a busy lane for approximately 200 yards. On the left is our destination - Meadow Lea Cafe. CH24EH

Hello, my name is Christine - Chris - for short. The route has been specifically chosen for women who either wish to return to cycling or who are new to cycling and wish to re/build their confidence and skills in the comany of like minded women The route is mainly traffic free with several miles of shared path, known as the "Greenway." Along the route one will meet/pass other cyclists, dog walkers, babies in prams, children on bikes and other items attached to wheels.

This ride is an 11 mile linear cycle ride along a traffic free tarmac shared path.

Ride members are free to stop at any time they wish. Be it for a break, to take a photo, have a drink, munch on a chocolate bar or just to admire the sculptures along the path.

Obviously, one need to bring a road worthy bike. In the best interest of safety a helmet is a requirement for the ride. Although there is no legal requirement a bell is a great asset in maintaining good relations with other path users. A pump and spare inner tube is also advisable. A drink, snack and extra clothing, and of course money for refreshments. I have panniers, so if there is an issue regarding carrying equipment I can put it in the pannier.

Welcome to Breeze, and I sincerely trust this will be the beginning of a fantastic journey into the world of cycling. The travelling speed will be between 6/10 miles per hour. I can assure you, no one will be left behind. The ride is for enjoyment. If you have any queries about the ride I can be contacted on 07546549206
