This is a picturesque 15 mile exploration of the villages west of Preston on the flanks of the Ribble Estuary. Starting and finishing at Frenchwood Recreation Ground, this route uses a combination of traffic-free paths and suburban roads to whisk you out of town. First you'll follow the River Ribble west, before branching out through wooded areas to the quaint and peaceful villages of Hutton and Longton. Excellent viewing points over the Ribble Estuary and top quality refreshment stops in both villages!
