Normanby Hall Country Park, Normanby

This ride is a tie-in with the The Humber Museums Partnership, who are looking for cyclists to promote a new Heritage trail, the Humber 250. This features 70 sites across the Humber region. Normanby Hall is the first of 70 sites featured on the trail around the Humber region and this ride will be preceded by a photocall capturing cyclists, classic cars and a group of people dressed up as Victorian Explorers about to depart Normanby Hall to embark on the Humber 250 heritage trail. Because of this, please be aware that the ride times may be elastic to accommodate this. We will assemble at 11:45am, but may not set off for the ride until 1pm. The ride itself if a Graceful Green ride, at a steady pace average 9 –11mph. We will set off from the Hall and enjoy a pleasant ride around the 6 villages route, heading to Alkborough Maze and the a cafe stop. We will then return to Normanby Hall. As with all our rides, I strongly recommend you bring the appropriate inner tubes for your bike, with the tools necessary to change them. This seems to be the best talisman to ensure you won't need them! You will also need to bring a drink (and snacks) for the ride, and money for the cafe. Please be ready 15 minutes before the ride start time to allow for introductions and essential safety checks.
