Hull4Heroes Cycling Club Chip Butty Run Hornsea

You are soon cycling through the lovely countryside of the Holderness Plain with open views of woodlands, fields, and eventually, the sea!
Stay on the trail all the way to Hornsea, taking care when crossing roads, and giving way to walkers and horse-riders. You can take a break at pubs at the pretty villages of New Ellerby and Great Hatfield on the way.
The route takes you right through to the seafront and beach in Hornsea with its panoramic coastal views. Enjoy seaside attractions, cafes, pubs, fish and chip shops and play areas for children. Back towards the freshwater mere (Yorkshire’s largest lake!) is a small award-winning museum of local life.

The Christmas ride for the Hull 4 Heroes cycling club will be to Hornsea on a chip butty run, this will be rode at the slowest mans / ladies pace. No one will be left behind.

This enjoyable traffic-free ride along the Hornsea Rail Trail goes from the centre of the maritime city of Hull, out across the flat and fertile Holderness plain to finish at the small seaside town of Hornsea.

We will be planning to stop in Hornsea for a bite to eat and a chat before returning back along the same route.

Helmets are to be worn along the route, please bring some money for the stop and anything you require for the bike. The route is not suitable for road bikes!!!!
