About the route
Starting point
St Georges Square by the statue of Harold Wilson, setting off at 7.30am prompt and meeting from 7.15.
This is an easy to steady paced ride to Leeds via Mirfield, Ravensthorpe and Dewsbury. We will be using the cycle route as far as Dewsbury, then cycle lanes through to Leeds. The reason for the early start is so that we can join in the Leeds Sky Ride Event which starts at 10am. It's a great opportunity to meet new riders and ride round traffic free circuit. We will stay in Leeds till about 1pm to 1.30pm allowing enough time to do a few traffic free circuits and some dinner.
