If you're an experienced and confident rider, this challenging ride is for you. You will have earned the sense of achievement you feel when, accompanied by cheers from the crowd gathered to watch the Tour of Britain stage finish, you cross the finish line win Hemel. You will have cycled around 26 miles through some of the most beautiful countryside and lovely villages in the area. The route keep mostly to quiet tree or hedge lined lanes. You'll visit the villages of Sarratt, Chipperfield and Bovingdon Green. You'll ride through the wooded areas of Commonwood Common, Chipperfield Common, Woodmanmans Wood, Ley Hill and Little Heath. You'll meet the challenge of the climbs out of the many valleys that criss cross the area.
