Leaving from Hove park we will head to the seafront and join the cycle path towards Shoreham. We will cross the Adur and head out over the Coombes towards Steyning. We then ride through Bramber and along to join the Edburton road riding through Fulking and Poynings. We will have a café stop at Rushfields, before heading out along Shaves Wood and Truslers Hill Lanes. From there will head across to Albourne and then make our back towards Brighton along the A23 cycle path. At the bottom of the A23 we will ride up Mill Road and then drop down along Woodland Drive to Hove park, where the ride will finish. There are some hills to tackle on this ride, including the Coombes, Ginger Hill and Mill Road, and the route includes some rolling hills on Edburton lane. There will be plenty of flat sections also, and a few good downhill stretches. This is a challenging ride, so please make sure you come equipped with sufficient snacks and water, and please ensure your bike is road worthy and that you carry a spare inner tube and the tools to fix a puncture. I will email those booked on the ride a day or so beforehand to ensure there are no outstanding queries. In the meantime, if you have any questions, please feel free to give me a call or text on 07908 228408
