Hoghton, Samlesbury, Balderstones & back to Witton for a coffee

Another of our mid week rides for us to get out and about. Today I'll be taking you round some of my favourite local areas and incorporating a part of one of my classic Lancashire Lanes route.. We head out of Witton Park towards Pleasington Priory and then over to the quiet lanes of Hoghton with the impressive Hoghton Tower in view often in the early part of our ride. Today we head down to Roach Bridge an cross over the main A59 and take the gorgeous Buzz Lane to take us up to Balderstones, this really is some of Lancashires best cycling lanes. From here it's a haul up into Mellor and back to our start point via the Clog and Billycck section of The Weavers Wheel. A coffee stop at Witton Park is the perfect way to end a classy little ride, come along and join me, you may just end up enjoying yourself. Kev
