Historic Churches- St Peter's and Paul's Church, Blockley

Cycle past Witchcraft and cross Ryknild Street and B4077. Turn right at Beware of the Bull along the Eyford Valley, Cross Buckle Street and enjoy the descent down Grange hill past Chapel Ash. Turn right toward Barton crossing the River Windrush onto Kineton, Temple Guiting, Crossing B4077, Taddington and skirting past Snowshill and the lavender farm, join Buckle Street. Then at the Campden Cross Roads (and site of a Polish camp) cross Five Mile Drive (A44) to join the B4081 and descend Conduit Hill to Chipping Campden. Then cycle along Catbrook road out towards Broad Campden, Then past Northwick Park (Polish Camp) t Blockley. Here we can visit St Peter's and Paul's Church at Blockley. Father Brown is based around this church. (20 miles) Then it is Blockley hill, with a very short stretch on the A44 then Sezincote.
I suggest the coffee stop will be at Cotswold Barn (23 miles) followed by a short ride back to Condicote.
Alternatively we can stop at Blockley cafe by the church.

Historic churches. Over the course of the year some rides will stop at some interesting churches in the locality. We will spend about 5 minutes depending on the interest of the group. There is usually a collection box inside if you would like to contribute.

A circular route

Roads- Mostly quiet country lanes. Crossing some busy roads with some short stretches on B roads.

Helmets are compulsory. Please dress for the weather and bring a spare inner tube.
