The route starts off at Condicote Village Hall. The road winds it way through the Warren Woods beyond Hinchwick. This is followed by a stretch on the A44 as we will descend down to Moreton on the newly resurfaced Batsford road. We then go through Dorn, cross the Fosse to reach Lower Lemington. Here we take a short road to the church in a farm yard area. The ride back is through Evenlode then Broadwell. Then there is a bit of climbing back through the small village of Donnington. Finally, a lovely descent past the Brewery and back to the village.
Coffee stop- can either be at Revolution cafe or one of the many cafes in Moreton. If we decide on the Rev then can use cycle path past the motorway. If we decide on Moreton then we will cycle along the high street.
Historic churches. Over the course of the year some rides will stop at some interesting churches in the locality. We will spend about 5 minutes depending on the interest of the group. There is usually a collection box inside if you wish to use it.
Lower Lemington is mentioned in the Domesday book. St Leonard's church has a beautiful 12th century entrance. It is very small and has interesting stained glass windows.
