Starting point

LE10 0NQ

Clarendon Park Car Park, Coventry Road.

The Mums and Daughters ride will start out from Calrendon Park Car Park, off Coventry Road - those who wish to come along should meet here at 10.30am. We will then set off through Clarendon Park, out along the Battling Brook Green belt cycle path to Langdale Community Park. If the sun is shining, we may stop on Langdale Community Park and have a break so be sure to bring a drink and some snacks for a mini picnic style stop! If the weather isn't great, we will continue on to The Marina for an optional refreshment stop. Following a break, we will then re-trace our ride back to Clarendon Park where we can stop and let the young ones have a play on the play area before making our way back to the car park. The route is around 3 miles long, much of which is on the cycle path and so the ride is suitable for all ability cyclists. This ride has been organsied as part of the Sport England National Campaign #ThisGirlCan, which aims to encourage women and girls of all shapes, sizes and abilities to get more active this Summer. The ride is FREE to attend. The only money you may need is for a drink and a slice of cake at the Marina if we choose to stop here. So get those bikes out and ready and come along for a pleasent ride in the Sunshine with your daughter! We look forward to seeing you there!
