Trinity Vicarage Road Car Park (Leisure Centre)

From the centre of Hinckley this route will soon have you in the beautiful Leicestershire countryside on mainly quiet lanes. On the way to the pretty market town of Market Bosworth you will pass the edge of the Motor Industry Reasearch Assosiation's (MIRA) test track before picking up a quite lane alongside the Ashby canal. On the way to Bosworth you will pass through the beautiful village of Shenton, close to the battlefield of 1485. After leaving Market Bosworth you will head out towards the former mining communities of Leicestershire, passing through a number of old pit villages. After Desford you will take a short off road section  past the old RAF Desford site and on to Kirby Mallory with its famous motor racing circuit (Which once hosted the UCI Road World Championships) You will then head back towards Market Bosworth, passing through a number villages which played a part during the historic events of 1485. You then retrace your route back into Hinckley.
