Hinckley and Beyond 30

The ride is open to all but to try and make this an enjoyable group ride for all so that we can all stick together please note this route has an expected 15 - 15.5 mph average speed and has some inclines on the way so a road bike with a compact crank is recommended. The ride has no scheduled / planned stops other than a roadside comfort break if required. But of course a more suitable place like a pub or cafe on route for anyone within the group if required. This is a scenic route out into the Leicestershire countryside starting at Hinckley and going in a clockwise direction taking in the villages of Wykin, Market Bosworth, Barlestone, Bagworth, Thornton, Desford, Peckleton, Kirkby Mallory, Sutton Cheney, Dadlington and Stoke Golding returning to Hinckley. Please note compared to the route map we will avoid Mill Lane and the village of Shenton as this has recently been resurfaced and still has loads of loose stone chippings. So we will pick the route up from via Fenn Lane then Shenton Lane.
