Menston park, Main Street, Menston by children's playground

We leave Menston and cycle down to Otley. After passing through this lovely market town we start our first climb to Farnley and onwards to Lindley. Plenty of hills but we take them slowly! We then cycle along a favourite gated road (paved) through farmland so watch out for sheep! Next we have a slow section up part of Norwood edge and then drop down to Fewston reservoir and our fabulous cafe stop at Washburn Heritage Centre - we can have guilt free cake after all those hills! The bluebells are out so the scenery will be spectacular! Our return is via Jack hill giving us wonderful views across the Washburn Valley. We then have another climb back to Farnley before we return to Otley and Menston. If we are feeling energetic there is an option to do a 6-7 mile extra loop after the cafe stop.
