A fantastic circular ride with a few inclines and descents. Going through some beautiful woodlands and allways special this time of year with fantastic colours during autumn. A MTB challenging route

We set off from the lakeside complex heading over into Sandall beat woods on the fantastic trails experiencing the challenging bomb holes following some splendid autumnal scenery through these magnificent ancient woodlands we head over too armthorpe pit stack taking on the most challenging incline we sweep around into central armthorpe village through some challenging single track woodland decent . We cross over to the village of Branton going across beautiful bridleways over picturesque farm land over to gatewood lane in Branton we cycle through past the famous Yorkshire wildlife park. We then head through the beautiful woodlands of hachell woods what a beautiful setting this is over bawtry road down into bessacarr grange a superb exhilarating decent towards potteric Carr nature reserve bridleway. We follow the trails now past the Amazon lakes beautiful nature reserve. We then arrive at our cafe stop at Highfield social cafe. Our loop continues along the dearne valley trail all the way to conisbrough we head over mill lane Warmsworth link to sprotbrough. We head down towards the river Don staying on the south side and crossing over the River Don at Warmsworth then following the TPT towards Bentley we then follow the greenway back through the city following the cycle infrastructure around the city and back to tenpin car park. Completing a fabulous MTB loop.

Mainly off road woodland trails farmland bridleways pit stack gravel trails. A few interconnected roads not too busy.

Stopping at the beautiful cafe Highfield cafe social. Armthorpe pit stack . The A1 fabulous trail view of the river Don and beautiful valley below. Hachel woods beautiful pretty woods it certainly looks beautiful this time of year .

Helmets are advisable for this ride . Bike locks are a must to lock bikes up at the cafe stop. The cafe is card only . Spares and tools to repair a puncture. Bike pumps, bike lights .
