A circular bike ride around some of the Heritage Open Day Events. Visit three fantastic venues on one ride!

Bring the family on a short (5 mile) Guided Bike Ride around some of the Heritage Open Day Events on Sunday afternoon.

The tour will start and end at Milton Keynes Museum (Connected Earth, Victorian High Street, School and Transport) via Wolverton (Secret Garden, Art Works, Rail and Canal Heritage) and from there we’ll spend time exploring the inner workings of Bradwell Windmill.

Next we travel along the beautiful Loughton Valley Linear Park to Bradwell Abbey for the Milton Keynes Discovery Centre Medieval Fayre (have-a-go at archery, birds of prey, knights, squires, monks, markets, food and drink). Finally back to the museum via Bancroft Roman Villa.

You will be guided by experienced ride leaders. The tour of the Bradwell Windmill will take approx. 30 mins and the Medieval Fayre approx. 60mins.

Please note - The weekend of the 15th and 16th Sep, MK Museum host the Transport Weekend of Marvellous Motors. There is a charge for entry but the tickets will allow you free re-admission for 12 months. We suggest that if you want to look around the Museum do so before the bike tour as the museum closes at 4.30pm.

The Museum HODs run from 19th – 22th Sept.
