This is a lovely coutryside route and is only a stones throw from Derby city centre. On the route you'll cycle through country lanes and the roads of rural Derbyshire towards Kedleston Hall and Windley, climbing high into the South Derbyshire hills, towards parts of 2012-2013 Tour of Britain route. After completing the long climb up to the Tiger Inn, Turnditch, why not stop for some well earned rest and refreshments. The route then returns to Derby via the Wirksworth Road approaching Duffield, over towards Little Eaton and via Allestree into Markeaton Park.
