Hatfield to Highfield

We leave Hatfield Cycle Hub and cycle up Homestead Road to join the Alban Way. We cycle through 'the backs' of Hatfield crossing local roads until we exit in front of the Galleria. We join the main path of the Alban Way all the way through to Smallford turning off into Highfield Park just above Tyttenhanger. We will have a short tour of the park enjoying the many features including gardens, woodlands and a maze before returning back to Hatfield along the Alban Way. Please note - it will be dark when we return!

We will be cycling along the Alban Way to Highfield Park

This ride is almost 100% traffic free with very small portions on local roads in Hatfield and towards Highfield Park

There won't be any stops on the ride this evening.

Please wear helmets - cycling mitts are recommended to absorb any bumps. Wearing a high visibility top is best to be safe and be seen. Front and rear cycle lights would be good if you have them as it may be dim when the ride ends. Carry inner tubes and levers if you have them. Ensure your water bottle is full to keep hydrated.
