Hatfield to Hertford by BOAT

We go south from Hatfield, east round Hatfield Park, then make our way by various minor roads and BOATS (Byways Open to All Traffic) We will have lunch at the ever enjoyable Serendipity Cafe then return to Hatfield via more minor roads and bridlways. Some of this route is a bit rough and bumpy so favours those with slightly larger tyres but most bikes should make it with no trouble. There are a couple of major roads to negotiate, either crossing them or travelling along them for a short distance. Assistance will be given.
