Tuesday Night "Lights On" Club Ride - This night ride is around the county lanes to the South West of Basingstoke and is approximately 15 miles long. We will either head out towards Dummer or Oakley. For more information and the routes, please see our Facebook Page: www.facebook.com/HWBcc/ For insurance purposes, WE HAVE A NO LIGHTS, NO RIDE POLICY, so please REMEMBER YOUR LIGHTS. The usual club rules apply, with the addition of the following tips. 1) If you are riding on public roads in the hours of darkness, you are legally obliged to have lights. 2) A group of cyclists is far more visible than a single rider. 3) In the dark or low light conditions, correct positioning in the road and not riding in the gutter is even more important than in daylight. 4) You also need to leave more time to react and slow. 5) You need to give the other riders in the group more space 6) Reduce your speed
