This ride takes us to the Tea Shack at Woodoaks Farm, Maple Cross. https://woodoaksfarm.com/

The route has some significant climbing but most of it is dealt with at the beginning. We head out through Hatch End and climb Potter Street and Hillside Road. There are a couple more hills as we skirt Northwood. Then we ride through the Moor Park Estate before passing through Rickmansworth on cycle paths and quiet roads.

After refreshments at the Tea Shack (home of the Guinness Chocolate Cake!) we use the canal towpath to return to Rickmansworth before picking up the Ebury Way to Watford. From there it's mostly quiet roads and cycle paths (with a short busy stretch of Oxhey Lane) to get back to Hatch End.

Participants need to be confident riding in traffic and on the canal towpath and able to cope with some significant climbing.

Check your bike before the ride. Bring a spare innertube and tools to fix a puncture.
