This ride takes us to Ley Hill to visit the Classic Car Show. We will aim to meet up with another Hub group starting from Eastcote. The route has several hills, some quite challenging, and involves riding on some busy roads.

The classic car show starts at 12 noon, but we will aim to get there by 11:30am to watch the cars coming onto the cricket pitch for the show. There is usually a mobile coffee van and the cricket pavilion bar will be open for refreshments, but please bring water and a snack as there are a few hills on route, so refuelling may be required.

Check your bike before the ride, paying particular attention to the brakes and tyres. Use this guide: https://lcc.org.uk/advice/bike-safety-check/. Bring a spare innertube, a pump and tools to fix a puncture. Dress appropriately for the conditions. Bring a drink and snack (or money to purchase).

The time for the ride is a best estimate by the Ride Leader. Sometimes this can be affected by factors such as the weather, mechanical issues, the queue at the cafe, etc. We have a policy of leaving no rider behind so, if anyone is struggling, we will adjust the speed and take rest stops if necessary.
