Harvey Hadden - Erewash Valley Trail Ride

This ride starts at Harvey Hadden Sports Village and from there heads out via Strelley to join off road bridal paths towards the Nottingham Canal and Erewash Valley Trail.

Once joining the Canal network the ride heads north along the Nottingham Canal before returning via the Erewash Valley Trail.

This ride also offers the opportunity of cycling on the 1.5km closed loop cycle circuit at Harvey Hadden at the start or end of the ride. (Subject to availability)

There's also the choice of stopping off at Strelley Hall for tea/coffee and their excellent choice of tasty cakes or snacks for those who'd like a treat for their efforts. (Note: this will add 1.5miles-2miles to the overall distance) Otherwise you could bring your own snacks with you to have whilst we are there. Toilets are available here also.

Please wear appropriate clothing for the weather and bring a spare inner tube, puncture repair kit, some simple bike tools, and some cash for the cafe stop. Helmets are always strongly advised!

Face coverings are optional but always worth having one to hand just in case.
I use my neck tube.
