There is car parking but you do have to pay. Please check with TfL for any engineering works on the Met/Chiltern/Overground/London Midland which may affect your journey to and from the starting point.

A mix of side roads, little bit of main roads, and cycle tracks. The route is mainly flat, with the exception of the sharp incline on each side of the bridge over the A40.

Please check your to make sure that your bike is not making any strange noises, and if it is take it you your local bike shop to be checked. Oil your chain and check your tyre pressure - they should feel like a Granny Smith apple.

Top tips
Check the weather forecast the day before and dress accordingly
Layer up! Base, mid, and outer wind/waterproof layer
Slap some factor 50 on your face, arms, legs. It will stop them stinging from wind, sun, or rain. Even it it is dull, you will be grateful for it when you get home later.
Have breakfast
Travel light - don't bring too much with you!
