We will be leaving from Harrow on the Hill tube station at 9.30 am. The aim is to get to Newens for 11.15-20 am. The ride will be be averaging around 11-12 miles an hour, please ensure that you are able to maintain this speed. I will do a pick up point at Northolt High School for 9.55 am, if you plan to do this, please send me a buddy request so I can message you. The route will be mainly side roads before we drop on to the canal towpath between Ealing Hospital and Brentford Marina, and then back on tarmac for the rest of the ride. There are two short sharp climbs which we do in each direction. This ride is suitable for riders who are confident and comfortable cycling in traffic, particularly around Richmond and Kew. The route is suitable for hybrid/road bikes with hybrid tyres fitted. Road tyres are not suitable for the terrain. Please ensure that your bike is in working order. If it is making strange clicks, crunches, or just feels unhappy please do get it checked out prior to booking on the ride. If your bike is not in roadworthy condition you may not be able to participate in this ride.
