Harewood & Eccup

We’ll meet in the Lay-by on Wike Lane just off Harrogate road, across from the entrance of Harewood. Once through the Iron Gates onto the Harewood Estate we’ll be riding on a Bridleway which is The Leeds Country Way a sanitised track, there could be sheep in the fields also on the track. We’ll start to go down to another gate, half way down the track has a few ruts due to the rain and snow that we’ve had. Once through the gate we’ll head through the woods towards where they film Emmerdale. The track is a bit uneven. It’s a good idea to bring some water and snack to keep you going. Wearing a helmet is advisable; if you don’t have one please do not to worry you can still take part.  If you enjoy the bike ride and would like to come again perhaps you could look to buy one then.  We really welcome newcomers to our rides; we will always ride at the pace of the slowest rider so no one is left behind.
