Hardy countryside tour

We will ride out on a mixture of cycle lanes and quiet roads to cycle past Max Gate, Thomas Hardy's home in his later years. From there, it's out into the Dorset countryside on country lanes/roads, passing through the villages of West Stafford, Tincelton, Puddletown until reaching Upper Bockhampton and the cottage where Hardy was born. We'll stop at the cafe here for some well earned refreshment before a largely downhill return to our starting point.
It's an undulating ride but no-one will be left behind as we will take it steady and re-group.
Please wear a helmet and dress appropriately for the weather on the day, bring a drink for the ride and card/cash for the cafe stop.
Please do carry a spare inner tube for your bike (any bike shop can help you with this) and check your bike before leaving home.
