Organized by groups in the community, these rides are a great way to meet new people, explore your local area and to have fun riding your bike. You can find rides that are suitable for your level of experience and interests whilst enjoying being part of a social cycling community.

We plan to ride 3 or 4 four-mile loops (light permitting). We will ride the first lap at an average speed of 10 mph, increasing with each lap by approximately 1-2 mph. Cyclists can drop off at the end of lap if they wish and can also rejoin the next lap.

If coming by car please arrive in plenty of time for "faffing". Please park on the road by the hedge at the point furthest from the pub.

We usually retire for a drink at the end of the ride at The Swan so please remember to bring some method of payment with you if you plan to join us.

Please remember to bring the usual items with you - bike, helmet, spare inner tube, pump, tyre levers, suitable clothing for the weather, any medication you may require, a drink, plus money and face covering for the pub at the end of the ride. IMPORTANT - please bring lights for your bike.
