Hanley Swan 2-Speed Fitness Ride

Jane and Hazel will run two groups this week. We plan to ride 3 or 4 four-mile loops (light permitting). The slower group will start their first lap at an average speed of 8 mph, then 10 mph and 12 mph. The second group will start at an average of 10 mph, then 12 mph and 13 mph. The last lap for both groups will be a 'free for all' allowing individuals to ride at their own pace. Cyclists can drop off at the end of a lap if they wish and can also rejoin the next lap.

If coming by car please arrive in plenty of time for "faffing". Please park on the road by the hedge at the point furthest from the pub.

We usually retire for a drink at the end of the ride at The Swan so please remember to bring some method of payment with you if you plan to join us.

Please remember to bring the usual items with you - bike, helmet, spare inner tube, pump, tyre levers, suitable clothing for the weather, any medication you may require, a drink, plus money and face covering for the pub at the end of the ride. IMPORTANT - please bring lights for your bike.
