This is directly opposite Rivington and Blackrod High School. The car park is free, there are no toilets but there are some at Rivington bottom barn which we will ride past, about a mile from the car park. Post code for parking BL6 7RT

Classic local ride to Haigh Hall. A relatively flat and a lot of traffic free trails. The only climb is the steady one up to Haigh Hall. An average of 8mph.
Some quiet lanes, canal tow path and traffic free trails.
We will stop at Haigh Hall for a brew and whatever you want. There are plenty of places to choose from including my favourite a Chocolate Shop. Unfortunately I think we will be too early for the bar.
No helmet, no ride. Please bring an inner tube that fits your bike as all are different sizes. Drink bottle or water bladder, snack if you need one before Haigh Hall. Suitable for off road e-bikes.
