We'll meet in between La Cava and Hockery Brook for a warm up and a quick bike check.  The middle of the ride takes in Haigh Hall where we’ll have a mid way stop at the stables cafe.  Please bring some money for a coffee and slice of cake.

This is a gentle ride on a mostly flat and traffic free route. The total length of the ride is around 8 miles. It’s perfect for beginners and anyone who’s not been on a bike for a while. We really welcome newcomers to our rides.  We’ll start and finish at Hockery Brook Pub on Wigan Road. There are a few climbs as you make your way to Haigh Hall but we’ll have plenty of rest stops and ride at the pace of the slowest rider.  The rest of the route downhill to the finish point.  Children are welcome to attend but MUST wear a helmet and there are some steep climbs to the Hall and cafe stop. It's a good idea to bring some water and you may also want to bring a snack if you think your energy levels may need topping up along the way.  It’s always good to take a few layers to cope with our British weather, a waterproof is always advisable. Look forward to seeing you there!
