A 21 mile Greenway cycle route encircling the City of Preston,providing a link from city to countryside. If you've never tried it it's a great way to enjoy good paths with wonderful glimpses of the Ribble at the start and finish of this well loved route . It's predominantly flat but with some sharp short lived inclines where we can get off and walk if needed.
Dedicated cycle paths all in excellent condition- which is useful in Winter.The route has occasional main roads that we will navigate together.
We'll stop at Avenham cafe for a toilet stop,a mere 5 mins from our start. We'll have a cafe stop,to be decided on the day.
Helmets are compulsory and please come equipped with inner tube,pump and toolkit.Also make sure you've got sufficient layers,drink and snacks and a method of payment for the cafe. Have a back up plan in case of mechanical failure.
