Starting point

Gwynedd
LL55 1UE

Join Alison for this fantastic Guided Ride showcasing our local history and iconic landscapes.
We will start Plas Menai Water sports Centre and ride to Pant Du Vineyard via the Caernarfon’s Cei Llechi (Slate Quay) and magnificent UNECSO World Heritage Caernarfon Castle towering over the quay. Much of this ride will be on the Lôn Efion cycle path which runs alongside the Welsh Highland Steam Railway (Rheilffordd Eryri).

This ride will stop at Pant Du Vineyard for a bite to eat. The views out over the Nantlle Valley are magnificant and this Slate Landscape also has World Heritage status.

This is will be a slow paced ride not exceeding 10mph along a relatively flat ride by North Wales standards, so a great ride to try if you’re building confidence on your bike. All bikes welcome including E Bikes. We never leave anyone behind.

WHAT TO BRING:
-A drink for the ride
-Clothes suitable for the weather (an extra layer/ water proof is a good idea)
-A helmet is compulsory
-A spare inner tube for your tyres
-Money for the cafe
-Please make sure your bike is in good working order with the tyres pumped up before arriving on the ride.
