Guide Dogs for the Blind charity ride

This is an opportunity for Breeze Ride participants to maybe take to the road for the first time, surrounded by helpful and encouraging experienced riders.   The lovely mix of riders and bikes is an interesting aspect to this ride, and also the picturesque Cheshire countryside of Tarporley, Beeston and Peckforton to provide a chocolate box backdrop of thatched cottages and castles. It will be an exciting event where some of the best racing cyclists in the country, including National Champions, will mix with our Breeze ladies! Add to that some beautiful guide dogs, and plenty of children eating locally made ice-cream, and I think you will agree it will be a fantastic atmosphere!   We will have local dignitaries and reporters to support the event. Plenty of photo opportunities too. You can arrange for family and friends to meet with you at Tattenhall at 12.00am.   We will have members of Weaver Valley Cycling Club, including beginners, children and new members taking an enjoyable ride through the beautiful Cheshire Countryside. However, I will be leading a Breeze and Sky Ride Local event which will take an easier and more direct scenic route. We will all meet up at Cheshire Ice Cream Farm for lunch.   Contributions to the charity will be welcome at the farm, and any contributor will be offered free refreshments. We will be riding for a fantastic charity, and the WVCC are delighted that we can join them.  There is also a parallel mixed ride under the Sky Ride Local buddy scheme, so that men and boys over age 16 can join in too.
