This L&D Hospital Social Rides ride is open for anyone to join

Led by experienced ride leaders, these rides are a great way to explore new places and to meet new people who enjoy cycling. They are suitable for all levels of experience, so whether you are a beginner or a seasoned cyclist, you can find a ride that is right for you.

Bike Week, in partnership with Cycling UK, is an annual celebration of cycling. Our goal is to encourage more people to embrace cycling as a brilliant way to boost both physical and mental health. Here at the L&D Hospital, we’re passionate about promoting well-being, and this event provides a fantastic opportunity to hop on your bike and enjoy a leisurely ride with like-minded individuals.

The Route:
• Start from the L&D Hospital.
• Follow cycle paths and quiet roads to Luton train station via the Busway.
• Continue along New Bedford Road to Warden Park.
• Explore the scenic River Lee as you head to Limbury Mead Nature Reserve.
