Starting point

Greystoke Village Hall car park
Icold Road (B5288)
Greystoke
Cumbria
CA11 0TW

This ride takes you from the historic village of Greystoke with its castle to the unique Eycott Hill Cumbria Wildlife Trust reserve and returns via a circuit of Greystoke Forest

At Eycott Hill we will stop for a short introduction to the reserve to learn about the work of the trust, the Eycott Hill environment and wildlife habitat. The route includes some long but steady climbs and descents but the effort is rewarded with stunning views of nearby Blencathra and the northern Lake District fells.
Back in Greystoke there is the possibility of refreshment at either the Cycle Cafe Garden/Barn or the village pub
