Great Missenden Off Road Breeze ride to the Pub

Starting on Kings Lane South Heath were there is plenty of parking. We will cycle on country lanes and bridleways to Chesham before the climb up the Hyde Heath were we will meet the Breeze ladies from Amersham for a quick drink at The Plough pub. Hopefully it will be a nice evening so we can sit out on the common and have a catch up. From Hyde Heath we'll head back through the woods to South Heath. We will ride at a steady pace of about 8 mph. Hopefully it will be dry so the ride should be fine for hybrid, gravel, mountain bike and e-bikes with knobbly tyres but not for road bikes. If there's been a lot of rain in the lead up to the ride I might change the route to more on road but will let you know.

Please check your bike is in good working order, preferably the day before the ride and that the tyres are pumped up. Check out this helpful video for how to check your bike:

Please wear a helmet and you might find the following things useful to bring along: spare inner tube and tyre levers, a bottle of water, some money/card for a drink at the pub. Keep an eye on the weather and dress appropriately. If the weather is particularly bad I will take a view on whether it will be safe and enjoyable to go and contact you via the British Cycling website. Off Road ride to The Plough at Hyde Heath

We'll keep off road as much as we can but there will be some stretches of tarmac and traffic.
